Top 7 Myths and Facts about Hair


We hear a lot of different information about hair.
Information such as what could sleep with wet hair, whether food can affect hair health, as well as anything else.
Not all information is true, but that does not mean there is absolutely no point.

The following myths and facts will be presented that we often hear about the hair.

1. Hair conditioner can repair split ends.
No matter how many ads claiming conditioner can improve branched hairs, but they are not.
Conditioner can indeed improve the hair cuticle so that the fork will be reduced. But the tip that has branched hairs will still exist.
Cut hair regularly (every 4-6 weeks) to help prevent a forked tip.
The only way to get rid of the hair tip branching is to cut it. So this is a myth



2. Do not sleep with wet hair - or fungus will grow.
MYTH. You can sleep with wet hair without worrying about fungus growing on the scalp.
Your scalp will not mildew if you are diligent in caring for and keeping the scalp clean.

3. Hair will grow thick with brush 100 times a day.
Think about it: how to comb your hair 100 times a day could grow hair?
Excessive combing hair can actually damage the cuticle, especially if using a comb that is not appropriate. Needless to say, this is a myth.

4. Sharing combs will spread the disease.
FACT. Everyone must have their own comb. Some parasites, like lice, can live on a brush or comb hair, and can be easily transmitted from one head to another.

5. More shampoo so hair will be cleaner.
MYTH. No matter how much shampoo you use, as long as was able to reach all the hair the result will be the same.
Do not bother to dispose of shampoo, just use the number of taste.

6. Food can cause hair loss.
FACT. What you eat has an effect on the quality and health of hair. A balanced diet plus a multivitamin supplement will make the hair grow healthy.

7. Wearing tight hairdo can cause baldness.
Tight hairdo (made of hair tense or interested in) can cause what is called "alopecia".
This condition occurs when a person continues to wear tight hairdo without letting your hair rest. Apolecia can trigger hair loss, so this statement is 100% fact
